New Food Part 3

Munchkin here,

The third flavor of I and Love and You, was Purrky Turkey and as with the others, Obsidian and I both loved it. I'll have to see if I can get Monika to start ordering it too.

New Med For Munchkin

Bob here,

I have been trying to find a joint health supplement for Munchkin for a while and every time I tried giving one to her, she would not touch it. This month Chewy had Cosequin Soft Chews, so I tried it. The chews are bigger than she likes, so I have to crumble them into her food, but she eats them with no fuss! She hasn't been on them long enough to tell if they are helping her, but I am so glad she at least eats these.

New Food Part 2

The next flavor we tried was Oh My Cod! and the name about says it all. Monika doesn't care much for the smell of it, but Obsidian and I love it. * paws up.

Foster Fail of a Sad Kind

Bob here,

I am very sad to have to say that we released Samantha back outside yesterday. We had decided to let her out into the bedroom seeing as she always used the litter box even if it did just have sheets of newspaper in it. When I checked on her about an hour later she had peed and pooped on our bed. Living her life closed up in our spare bathroom is no life for her and no one is going to adopt a cat that won't use the litter box correctly. So we returned her to her colony where at least we can keep watch on her and give her flea treatments and such when needed.

New Food Part 1

Munchkin here,

Chewy sent us another new food to try. The brand is I and love and you, and the flavor we tried today is chicken me out. Obsidian and I both loved it so it gets a solid 8 paws up.

Play Time For Samantha

Samantha here,

Monika brought in a stick toy for me to play with and Bob brought in the camera to film me. I was having bunches of fun, but I got a little nervous when I first saw the camera. Bob says he is sorry it is so dark, but Windows 10 decided to be evil and say that his video editing program that he used to use is not compatible.

Progress

Putting dirt in the litter did not work, and she's not using the Cat Attract litter either, but I had laid a sheet of newspaper down and she used that. So I put another sheet over the litter in the box and now she goes on that, so at least she is going inside the box. It's kind of an odd fix, but it is working so I will take it.

Meet Samantha

I'm Samantha,

I was one of the outside cats where Bob and Monika live, but Monika picked me up by my scruff and brought me in. At first, they thought I was pregnant, but it turned out I have a bad bladder infection. As a result, I was in their master bathroom a day and a half before I went to the bathroom. But Bob says I made up for lost time. I also have scabbies which Monika has treated me for. Here is another picture of me that was taken the first day I was here.

Bob and Monika both say I am a very sweet kitty, but I am afraid of the litter box and will not use it. They have tried two different litter boxes and now they have the litter in the cover of a printer paper box to see if maybe a shorter box will work. They changed to it last night and I still pooed outside it, so this morning they changed to a corn-based litter to see if I like that. They hope they can find something that will get me to use the litter, because if they don't they will have to put me back outside once I am healthy again.

If anyone has any suggestions for getting her to use the litter box please post them here. I would hate to have to put such a sweet cat back outside.

New Food Part 4

I almost forgot to tell you about the last flavor of Weruva Cats in The Kitchen. It's Chicken Frick 'A Zee and it tastes yummy.  Obsidian and I liked the Cats in The Kitchen food so much that Monika added it to her monthly Chewy order for us.

I got adopted Thursday! This is me and my new Mommy.  SHe said I have a brother kitty at her house too. I can hardly wait to meet and play with him.
