Tricky King

King Obsidian tried a new trick to try to get treats earlier this morning, but it didn't work like he hoped it would. He laid in the middle of the living room floor and cried loudly and repeatedly to wake up Bob and tell him we wanted our treats. But Bob just came out, pet him, said; "It's not time for treats yet."; and then went back to bed. Oh well. It was worth a try. *laughs*

New Feather Toy

Bob bought a new kind of feather stick for us. It has a long string on the end of it and the feathers attach to the end of the string. Bob and Monika where playing with us, moving the feather all over so we could chase it and try catching it. I caught it once, but Bob pulled the string up and it sprang up out of my paws. I jumped after it and almost grabbed it again, but I couldn't keep a grip on it. Oh and the best thing about it is that there are other fun things that our pets can put on the end of the string instead of just feathers.

Feeling Lazy

I was feeling lazy this morning, so I decided to just lay down on the bottom bunk and take a nap, only Bob saw me and started petting me and scratching my belly. I grabbed his hand in all four paws and nipped his finger to tell him to leave me alone, but he didn't get it. He just picked me up and gave me hugs and then put me back on the bunk and started petting me again.

Boots and Treats

Boots still doesn't come into the computer room with us for treats, but at least she isn't hiding in the bed room all the time any more. She likes to lay in the living room and look out the patio.

Taking Lessons

I learned a new way to lay down from Boots. She always lays with her left leg stretched all the way out in front of her and her right foot half way out. I tried it and I decided I liked it, so I lay like that too now.

Lots of Attention

I climbed up unto the cabinet by the kitchen for attentions this morning and Bob and Monika both came and petted me. I had them all to myself for lots of pets and cuddles. *smile*

Treat Time

Boots isn't comfortable coming to the computer room for treats with the rest of us kitties, so Bob always brings hers to the master bathroom for her. When we were still being kept separated she stayed in the bedroom and her litter and food were in the bathroom, so she is comfortable there. I came to the door after her gave them to her and watched her eating them. I wanted to come in, but Bob made me stay outside the bathroom door. I tried to be a good boy and succeeded mostly, but a low hiss snuck it's way out of me, and then I went back to being good.

Hiding

Monika's parents visited yesterday, and they cuddled all of us except for me, because I was hiding under the bed. I still get nervous with people that I don't know some times.

Ear Infection

Boots has a bacterial infection in her ears and Bob and Monika have to put drops in her ears and clean them out with Q-Tips. She doesn't like it at all, and I don't think I would either.

Boots

We are all trying to start being nicer to Boots, but she is not making it easy. Whenever one of us comes near her she hisses at us. Bob said he thinks she must have been a only kitty with the humans that left her behind.
