New Food

Munchkin here,

The second new food Chewy sent us this week was Victor's shredded chicken dinner. 
We all tend to prefer pate to shredded, but we all liked this anyways. 16 paws way up.

New Fosters

Hi,  I'm Sable. Bob and Monika caught me while they were trying to catch my Mom Midnight. She was very pregnant and they hoped that she would have the babies inside where they would be safe, but Mom is very trap savvy and wanted nothing to do with being caught. She likes Bob and will let him pet her while she is eating, but will run away if he tries to pick her up. On the other hand, I am afraid of Bob and I will barely let him pet me a couple of times and then I am ready to run away.

Hi, I'm Samson I am one of the kittens Midnight had after Bob and Monika caught Sable. They are still trying to catch my Mom, but so far they have had no luck. Unlike my brother, I love Bob and I like to lay in his lap while he on the computer and to sleep cuddled next to him.

New Food

This month Chewy sent us two new foods to try.  The first one we tried was Beyond Wild from Purina.  The flavor is Turkey Liver and Quail and we all loved it including the two fosters we have currently, giving it a whopping 16 paws up.

New Food

Chewy sent us some food made specifically for Momma cats with little kittens to try out. It's Royal Canin's Mother and Babycat canned. We had to pass this one on to another Foster as we have no kittens here currently, but the Foster Mamma was happy to inform us that the Mother and all four of her babies loved it and she has since bought two cases of it.

In Munchkin's paws up reckoning that gives it a 4 big paws up and 16 adorable little paws up.

Something New For The Fosters

We have a ferret nation cage that we use for our fosters and for female cats to re cooperate in after they are spayed.  We were lining the bottom with news paper in case the cat didn't use the litter box, but we decided to try the Wee Wee pads that Chewy was offering for review and they are a god send. With the news papers, if a cat peed it got all over the bottom of the cage and was a pain to clean up, but with the pads, I can just fold it to the center, tie it up in a grocery bag and take it to the dumpster.

I don't know about paws, but Monika and I give them 4 thumbs up.

New Book

Bob here,

Chewy sent me another Chicken Soup for the Soul Cat book to read.  This one is called My Very Good, Very Bad Cat and like the others of the set, it is a collection of short stories about peoples cats.  I love reading them and tend to see a little bit of one of my cats in just about every story.

New Food

Chewy sent us some more I and Love and You to try out.  This variety had Purrky Turkey, which we had tried in a different variety pack, Beef Right Meow which Obsidian and I both loved, and Savory Salmon, which I liked, but Obsidian was not too crazy about.

That gives it about 6 paws up.

Chewy also sent us the Cats in The Kitchen Variety Pack to try this month.  We have had the Cats in The Kitchen canned food so we expected to like it and Obsidian and I both loved it.  The only complaint we have is that it is a smaller serving size than the cans.

That gives it 6 out of 8 paws up.

New Food

Chewy sent Bob a new food for us to try. The brand is American Journey and he got the poultry variety for us to try. The flavors are chicken in gravy, chicken and turkey in gravy and turkey in gravy.

Bob started us off with the chicken, the the next day we got chicken and turkey and the day after that he gave us the turkey. I loved all three of them, but Obsidian was not very impressed. That is fine by me though, because it leaves more for me to enjoy.

New Treat

Chewy sent us a new treat to try. It's Purely Filets from Fancy Feast. They taste yummy, but Bob had to cut it into bite-size pieces for me because I have trouble when I try to eat something that big. We all liked it though. Even Ashlyn and Cosette had some and they don't usually like stuff that looks like human food.
