Bad Morning

This morning, when I got up, I wasn't in the mood to be held. So when Monika came to give me cuddles I ran and hid under the bed. Later, when Bob gave us our treats, she captured me and held onto me for cuddles and pets even though I asked her to put me down. As a result I got all riled up and went chasing after Queen Munchkin and King Obsidian. This didn't go over too well and King Obsidian started snarling at me with his big cat snarl, so Bob came in and separated us. Then Monika got the spray bottle and got me all wet for going after them. I can't win!!! *pout*

Bad Collar

Queen Munchkin here; A few weeks ago I took my collar off and when Bob went to put it back on him I got all scared and tried to run away, so he put it down and cuddled me to calm me down.  Then he checked my neck to make sure it wasn't giving me owies and saw that some of my hairs were missing so he put the collar in the hutch of his desk and told me I didn't have to wear it.  It has been off for a while now, but the hairs have not grown back in.  It doesn't hurt and I let them touch the spot and everything, but there just isn't any hair there.   All I know is I am glad that I am a indoor kitty so I don't really have to wear a collar.

Belly Psyche!!

I wanted Bob to come play with me yesterday, so I started with a game of belly psyche. I laid on the floor at the end of the hallway with my belly up and, when he came to pay the belly toll, I got up last minute and took off running into the bedroom. Then I hid under the bed so that he could not catch me. *smirk*

Sleeping With Bob

This morning Monika got up early so I decided to climb up onto the bed and sleep cuddled next to Bob for a while. *smile*

Playing Chase

This morning when Bob asked me what I wanted to post about I went to the computer room door, looked back over my shoulder at him and said; "Come catch me." Then I ran into the living room and he chased me around, then caught me and played ruff with me. I think I might get him to chase me some more. *smile*

Job Fair

Yesterday Bob went to a Job Fair.  He said he normally does not like them, but he hoped that he might at least get a couple of ideas or contacts.

Fun With Monika

Monika just picked me up and gave me bunches of hugs, cuddles, belly rubs, and kisses. I'm all happy now. Time to take a nap. *smile*

Bathroom Carpet Fun

Bob washed the carpets in the bathrooms yesterday and when he put them back I had to roll around on them and get my scent all over them. Then when I was done doing that I got under one and made believe it was a cave. *smile*

Prince Bad Boy

Monika caught me chasing my Mommy, Princess Ashlyn this morning and trying to be mean to her. So she captured me and held my front paws in one hand and my back paws in the other and said I was in kitty handcuffs for being a bad boy. She had me laying back on her and her arm was under my butt so that I was comfortable, but I couldn't go anywhere. After a while she finally let me go, but she said that if she caught me being mean to my Mommy again she would close me in the shower and put the water on. So... I chased King Obsidian out of the litter box instead. *smirk*

Enrichment Time

King Obsidian here; Monika put down the Catty Shack box for Queen Munchkin and me to try to get treats from this morning. Queen Munchkin has gotten pretty good at getting them out, but I still have trouble so Monika lets me try for a bit and then pours a few into her hand and gives them to me. Princess Ashlyn and Prince Frostin do not like the Catty Shack treats, so Monika puts out catnip for them and Princess Boots usually comes for the Catty Shack too, but she decided to stay on the master bed and nap today instead.

Update on Monika

Last night Monika slept in the bed and she staid all night. She has been sleeping on the recliner chair mostly since her surgery because sleeping on the bed makes her owie hurt. I think this means it may finally be getting better. *smile*

Switching Pizzas

Bob and Monika have both decided that they like Sam's Choice Deluxe Cheese pizza from Walmart better than the extra cheese pizza that the local Pizza Hut delivers and at $8 for the large it is less than half the cost. Plus they don't have to wait as long to eat. Our Pizza Hut is 15 to 20 minutes late delivering all the time lately.

Whew!!

Today I came into the kitchen and jumped on the counter next to Bob to say good morning and landed right next to his cereal bowl. Yikes!!!! I thought I was going to be in trouble for sure, but he just asked me what I was doing up there and picked me up and gave me cuddles. *smile*

Bad Bob

King Obsidian here; This morning when the alarm went off for Monika at 5:30, Bob set his alarm for 6 and went back to sleep. While he was trying to set it I got up in his face and purred all over him, trying to get him to wake up and give us our treats, but he would have none of it. *pout*

Sneaky Queen

Queen Munchkin here; Yesterday I decided I wanted some treats, so I climbed onto Monika's desk and pulled down the carton of Catty Shack and tried to open it. Bob caught me though and told me that, if I was a good girl, Monika would give me some when she got home. I like the Catty Shack because she opens the spout and then puts it on the floor and lets me figure out how to get them out by myself.

Sad Month

So far this has been a bad month for the animals that own Bob and Monika's families. His sister was owned by 2 dogs and 3 cats. One of the dogs, his name was Murray went to the bridge at the beginning of the month, and a pretty girl cat named Sierra went this weekend. Also this weekend Muffin, one of the 2 dogs that own Bob's parents went to the bridge, and Willy the three legged cat that shared ownership of Monika's parents went to the bridge also. *pout*

Lazy Day

We're all in lazy moods today. All us kitties just found some comfortable places to take naps, and Bob and Monika even joined us for a while.

Chair Cuddles

Last night when Bob got off his computer I was laying half asleep in Monika's computer chair and he sat on the floor next to me and gave me bunches of hugs and cuddles without picking me up. He said he was giving me chair cuddles. I think I like those because I am not held captive when I am getting them. *smile*

Sleeping With Bob

Bob moved one of the boxes for his new shoes into the bedroom for me to use as a bed because I usually sleep on the floor next to the bed, but I like boxes too. I have slept in the box for the past few nights since he moved it, but last night I decided to surprise him. I climbed up unto the bed and slept next to him for a while. *smile*

Oh No!

I may have jinxed Bob. The place he started working at Tuesday is getting so many applicants that they asked the people that started Tuesday and Wednesday not to come in today so that the Thursday arrivals have room to work. There are a number of positions open, so it may be OK, but Bob doesn't like the idea of not working when there are bills that need paying.

Bob Found Another Job

Bob went right into a new job yesterday, but he doesn't want to let any one know because he doesn't want to jinx it. *oops*

The people at Bobs' new job told him that they don't need him any more yesterday. *pout*

Bad Pet

Queen Munchkin here; This morning Bob didn't think there was enough milk in the bottom of his serial bowl for King Obsidian and I to share so he corrupted it by putting regular milk into it before giving it to us.  We both just sniffed it a little and then walked away.

Captive Pet

When Bob woke up this morning; I was laying against his left arm, Queen Munchkin was laying against his right arm, and King Obsidian was laying between his legs.  He called out to Monika that he was being held captive, but as soon as he said that I moved down to his feet.  After all, how is he supposed to give us our treats if he can't get out of bed? *laughs*

I Gotta Get Me One of These

I think this is the bestest invention I have ever seen. Finally a way for us kitties to sleep on the bead with our beans without having to worry about getting squished by them if they roll over. It is called The Cat Loft and its' support frame goes under your beans mattress. Then you have your own little mattress right up against theirs.

New Boxes!!

Bob got new shoes with steel toes for work and he put the 2 halves of the box on the floor for us!  Hooray!!!!  We've got boxes!!!! *SMILE*

Slowly Getting Back To Normal

I'm glad Bob's new job starts later than the part time one he had.  Now he can sit and read the blogs with me in the morning again instead of us having to wait until he gets home. *smile*

New Job For Bob

Bob starts a new job tomorrow and it is full time. Guess that means we will have to get used to him being gom=ne more again. *pout*

More On AWOL Pets

Today, when Bob came home from work, he and Monika both left and they didn't come back for almost 5 hours. I found out that Monika is going to work, and today Bob went to orientation for a new job that is full time. Hope he gets it.

Bob came home from work early this morning and shortly afterward Monika left. What's up with that?!?!

Crazy Pet

Bob is getting weird on me again. Every day last week, before he left for work, he shaved the hair off his face but not off his head. Now this morning he woke up and, before he came to help me read my friends blogs and post, he shaved his head but not his face. So long as he doesn't shave his mustache and beard off his chin. If he does that I might have to trade him in for a new male pet.
