Belly Scratches

I like to lay on my back and look cute so my humans will pet my belly, and last night Princess Boots decided to try it. Later she told me that Monika gives good belly scratches, but I already knew that.

Morning Ritual

This morning Queen Munchkin climbed onto the bed to get good morning cuddles and the alarm went off just as she snuggled in next to Bob. He hugged her and gave her bunches of snuggles and then got up. After he washed up and gave us our treats he went and found Princess Boots to give her her treats because she still doesn't come in with us. She usually gets them at the food dish, but Munchkin was there, so Bob brought her back to the master bathroom and gave them to her there.

Surprised Princess

This morning Queen Munchkin jumped onto the bed when the alarm went off to say good morning to our humans and was surprised to find Princess Boots in the corner by Monika's feet. Queen Munchkin's landing on the bed startled Princess Boots, so she hissed and Queen Munchkin jumped back down. After he gave good morning pets to Princess Boots, Bob found Queen Munchkin pouting by the door and gave here cuddles.

Lancelot Kitty

Yesterday King Obsidian was chasing Queen Munchkin and making her hiss, so I chased him and got him coming after me instead. Bob said I was being like Sir Lancelot. Who's Sir Lancelot?

Straw

This morning I climbed onto the kitchen sink and started sniffing the straw from Monika's glass. She always uses one when she drinks and I wanted to see if I could figure out how to do it, but Bob picked me up and told me that us kittens aren't supposed to be in the sink. I'll have to wait until him and Monika go to work and then try again. *wink*

Upset Princess

Bob and Monika left for the weekend and before they left they made sure our litters were clean and that we had plenty of food and water. We missed them while they were gone, but we were not worried because we knew they would not be gone too long. Princess Boots on the other hand got upset because she thought she was being deserted again. We all tried to tell her that Bob and Monika would be back, but she hid under the bed a lot, and when they got home she was mad at them for leaving. The rest of us are used to them leaving for a day or two occasionally, but it is apparently something that Princess Boots will have to get accustomed to.

Bug Hunter

I saw a buggy this morning and Bob chased it toward me, so I could catch it. *smile*

Boots Gets Curious

This morning, while we were eating our treats, Boots came into the room to see what was going on. Bob called her in, and she walked up to him so he gave her treats to her. But she got nervous and ran back out, so Bob picked up her treats and brought them out to her.

Boots Sneaks Out

This morning, when Monika went out to fill the outside kitties dishes, Princess Boots snuck out and ran down the side walk. Monika called Bob and he helped her catch Princess Boots and bring her back inside. Monika told her that she is not an outside kitty any more and then she and Bob gave her, her ear drops again. Later she told me that she knows she isn't an outside kitty any more and that she just didn't want her ear drops.

Guarding Boots

When Bob gave Boots her treats this morning King Obsidian and Queen Munchkin crowed her and made her nervous so Bob picked her and her bowl up and brought her into the master bathroom where her dish used to be when she first moved in with us. I followed to make sure she was OK, but I kept my distance and let her eat. Bob looked out at me and told me I was a good boy. *smile*
