Monika's back!

Bob went to Monika's work to get her last night and when she got home, we all got our Monika cuddles! *smile*

Bob's Sleep Machine

Bob is finally getting used to his C-PAP machine. He said the first morning, when he woke up after sleeping with it, his mouth was so dry he felt like it was full of cotton balls. When he checked online, he found out that meant he was sleeping with his mouth open. His subconscious must be working at keeping his mouth shut while sleeps now, because he doesn't get the bad dry mouth any more. *laughs*

Work Trip

Monika has to go on a trip for her work. She wont be home tonight, but she said she should come home some time tomorrow night.

Ooooppppss!

Bob and Monika moved our open cat food bags out onto the patio so there would be more room. Then while they were in the computer room they decided that maybe that wasn't such a good idea because bugs might get into it. So they went out to bring it back in and were surprised to find a bag knocked over and a hole in the screen. Seems one of the outside kitties broke in and helped it's self. I wonder if the kitties name was Bugs? *laughs*

Greeting Cosette

The other night, Monika had the door open with a dish of catfood near it trying to coax Cosette to come inside. She did come in a little and I walked up and touched noses with her a couple of times and neither of us even hissed. *smile*

Sleep Apnea

Bob has a VA appointment today. He has to get a special machine called a CPAP to help him sleep better. He seems to sleep pretty good to me.  He even takes naps like a kitty some times, but the VA said he has Sleep Apnea. I'll have to keep an eye on him.

Helping Bob

I helped Bob claim his weeks for Unemployment this morning, but he said he would rather be claiming his weekly pay check.

Pleasant Surprise

I was napping on my chair in the computer room and Bob surprised me by sitting on the floor in front of me and combing me, and then gave me bunches of cuddles. *smile*

Needful Prince

This morning I wanted some one to play with me, or give me cuddles, but everyone was sleeping so I cried until Monika woke up and came to give me attentions.

Well Cuddled Princess

Princess Ashlyn here, This morning, after we had our treats, I jumped onto Bob's desk and he picked me up and cuddles me until I was all cuddled out and trying to get down. Then he put me gently onto the ground and let me go. *smile*

They're Back!

Bob and Monika just got back! *smile*

Pets Going A.W.O.L.

Bob and Monika are going to her parents for the weekend. Monika pulled out the suitcase and packed her stuff last night, and I just heard Bob say he is going to pack his when he gets back from dropping her off at work.

Curious Outside Kitty

Last night Cosette came into the apartment for a few seconds twice, and then again once this morning. So far she just comes in long enough to look at Bob's book shelf, then she turns and goes back out.

New Food Test: Chapter Two

Last night Queen Munchkin and Princess Boots tried another Merrick Purrfect Bistro flavor, this one was Chicken Pate. Queen Munchkin loved hers. She ate it so fast I almost thought that Monika didn't give her any. Princess Boots also enjoyed hers, but she took her time eating it to savor the taste. We would like to thank Chewy.com for giving us this opportunity to try something new.

New Food Test

CHEWY.com approached Bob and asked him if we would be willing to try some cat food and write a review on it so he agreed and they sent him two different flavors of Merrick's Purrfect Bistro. The first one we tried was Beef Wellington. Queen Munchkin loved it and ate hers right up, but Princess Boots just sniffed it and walked away. I don't usually eat canned food myself, but I was curious so I tried some of Princess Boot'ses but I only ate a little bit and Queen Munchkin wound out finishing it. Tonight we will try the other flavor they sent us and I will let you know what we thought tomorrow.

I Like Cosette

I think I like Cosette and I have tried approaching her a few times, but Bob and Monika always stop me and say; "No outside." They have however, been trying to talk Cosette into coming inside. They want to put flea stuff on her and see if they can get her more socialized so she can make a good pet for someone.

Warming Monika's Night Shirt

Last night when Monika decided to switch into her night shirt, she found me warming it up for her. She came too early though, and I didn't want to let her have it yet.

A Princess's Views on Cosette

Princess Ashlyn here, The outside kitty that Bob named Cosette has been working on training Bob and Monika. Monika goes out every morning with the kitten food for her and then brings it back out for her at different periods during the day. Cosette almost comes close enough for Monika to touch her, but she still keeps a safe distance from Bob. I peaked out the door at her this morning but Monika told me; "No outside." so I went to my tree. Then Cosette came towards the door, but she did not come in.

Cosette

Last week someone called a shelter and New Mama's kittens were all taken from the A/C unit. She spent the first couple of days pining around the unit looking for her babies and then disappeared for a few days, but now she is back again. Bob and Monika still give her kitten chow whenever she comes by looking for food and Bob has decided to name her Cosette because she looks like a little waif.

Taking Care of Our Outside Friends

Bob didn't get to go on his walk this morning because he had a VA appointment, but Monika went for a walk by herself and made sure all the outside kitties got their breakfast.

Princess Ashlyn's Morning

Princess Ashlyn here, This morning Monika gave me some cuddles, then brought me into the bedroom and gave me to Bob who was still half asleep. I usually try to run back off the bed, but today I let him cuddle me for a bit.

No More Visiting Kittens

It was going to be a few days before the people from the shelter could come to pick up Crybaby, whom Bob renamed Scamp and Nutmeg, so Bob put them in a carrier and brought them there himself this morning. Yesterday when Bob was cleaning their litter Scamp ran out and went under the bed. Bob was having a hard time getting him until I came in and got nose to nose with him and hissed.  Then he decided that he liked being in the bathroom after all. *laughs*

Another Mama

Bob found another Mama cat.  She has 4 kittens that Bob saw and he guesses them to be about 3 months old. Three of them were hiding under the car close to Mama and the forth ran into the overgrown field across the parking lot. Bob saw the kittens first and poured out kitten chow for them, then Mama came out and he poured cat food for her, but she decided she wanted the kitten chow.

Crybaby and Nutmeg

Bob and Monika have captured Crybaby and Nutmeg and they are living in our extra bathroom until the people from the no kill shelter come to pick them up.

Midnight's Back!

Here's more of Midnight. Bob hadn't seen him for a while and now he is back again. *smile*

Nutmeg

This is Crybaby's sister Nutmeg. They are both talkers and attention hounds. Also, if Bob and Monika would let them, they would walk right into the apartment to live with us.

Kittens Eating Breakfast

Bob has four different kittencams that he watches now. The first is Foster Dad John's which he has posted here before.  The others are Tiny Kittens, Cassie's Kitten Kastle and Kitten Cuddle Room. I had Bob link to the menu page for each cam just look for the ones that say live now. *smile*

More Treats

Bob had to cut back on our treats for a while because he was running out of everything and money was tight, but yesterday when he picked up Monika from work, they went shopping and now we have all the treats again. *smile*
