Excited!!!

After Bob gave us all our treats this morning, he picked me up for cuddles and told me that Monika is coming home today. I'm so happy I don't know what to do with myself.

Monika Called

The phone rang last night and Bob picked it up and talked into it a little, then he pushed a button and a marvelous thing happened. We all could hear Monika talking to us! He brought the phone around to each of us and told Monika who was here and she talked to us. I was so happy hearing her voice that I just laid next to the phone and purred.

Mopey

I'm feeling kind of mopey with Monika gone. Bob said when we get done posting he is going to go watch TV with us for a while and he will rock with me in the recliner. I'll let him try, but I don't think I will like it as much as when Monika does it.

Missing My Pet

Still no sign of Monika. Bob gave me extra cuddles last night and told me that she would be back in a few days, but I want her back now. *pout*

Missing Pet

Monika didn't come home last night. Bob said she is visiting her Mommy and our cousin kitties. I guess it is OK for her to visit them, but I still miss her. I can't wait 'til she comes back home.

Noisy Pet

This morning we all followed Bob into the computer room for our treats and, while he was pulling out the bag, the house made a loud noise like someone was in the walls. We all looked around trying to find where it came from, but Bob said it was just Monika pulling out her travel bag. She is going to visit her mom for a few days, but he is staying here with us.

Self Mobile Treat

Yesterday there was a lizard on the ceiling and Queen Munchkin and I were following it around trying to get it to come down. Monika saw what we were fussing about so she knocked him down for us to play with. He immediately hid under the couch, but after a while I manage to reach under and pull him out. He made a tasty little snack.

Funny Commercial in a Game

Monika has a silly game. A commercial came on in the middle of it and the man said; "This is the German Coast Guard." Then another voice said; "We're sinking.", and he replied; "What are you sinking about?" Then a thing came up that said learn better English.

Miffed King

King Obsidian is frustrated because Monika gave Queen Munchkin her cereal bowl so she could finish the milk and he wants to steal the bowl, but Monika won't let him near it. *laughs*

Late Rising Pet

Bob woke up late this morning and had to hurry so he would not be late for work. Monika gave us our morning treats while he was making his lunch and wolfing down a quick breakfast and then she drove him to work, so I had to wait until now so I could read my friends blogs and post.

Morning Treats

Bob said that I am a very smart kitty this morning. When he finished shaving and getting dressed, he said; "Come on kitties. Treat time." and when he got to the computer room I was already waiting. Then, after he shook the bag, everyone but Princess Boots came running. She still is not comfortable coming into the computer room, so he brings her treats to her after we all have had ours.

Greedy Pet

King Obsidian here; For the past few days Bob has been putting his cereal bowl on the ground for Queen Munchkin to drink the last of the milk, but I have been running up and stealing it before she could get any. This morning he saw me sitting in the doorway ready to rush in, so you know what he did? He drank all the milk himself. *pout*

Wise Princess

Princess Ashlyn here; Bob likes playing on his computer every night, and some times he forgets to give us kitties our attentions. I have found a perfect way to make sure I get mine though. I jump onto his desk, go to the other side, and turn my back to him. When he sees me like this he always picks me up and gives me hugs and cuddles. He told Monika that I give him the cold shoulder to get him to cuddle me.

We Got Chicken

Monika made chicken last night and Bob cut some up for all of us. *yummy*

Hope My Friends Are OK

I'm worried about the Sherwood cats and beans. Ike made quite a mess in Texas and we haven't heard from them since Friday night. Purring and praying that they are alright.

New Box

The box we had was too little so I squished myself into it, and then asked Monika if we could have a better one. She said OK and brought us a bigger one. This box has so much room that King Obsidian and I could probably sit side by side in it and still both have more room than I had in the old one. *smile*

Nipped Pet???

Monika got silly last night. She opened the jar of catnip and put it on the floor to see what us kitties would do. Soon as I smelled it I came in and knocked it over dumping some onto the carpet. I would have dumped more, but she grabbed it real fast and put the cover back on. Do you thing maybe she sniffed it when she opened it and that is why she got so silly? This morning Princess Boots found it and it made her all kitteny and playful, so I played chase with her for a while.

Buggy

Queen Munchkin here; There was a buggy on the ceiling this morning and I climbed up to Prince Frostin's high spot to try to get it. When Bob saw that I couldn't reach it he took a broom and knocked it to the floor for me and then Prince Frostin and I had fun chasing it until it hid behind the CD cabinet. *pout*

Queen's Preference

Queen Munchkin here; I tried laying with my feet on the wall like King Obsidian has been doing lately, but I think Bob's lap is much better.

Wall Walking

King Obsidian here; I have taken to laying in the hallway by the computer room with all four feet on the wall. Monika says it looks like I am walking on it. *laughs*

Bob's Shadow

Yesterday I decided I wanted to be Bob's shadow for a while. I followed him all around and he picked me up for hugs, pets and cuddles about 6 times. Usually I let him pick me up once and then I am done with him for the day, or at least for a few hours, but I just kept following him and asking for attentions.

I Missed Yesterday???

I must have been tireder than I thought yesterday. I read all the blogs and then forgot to post to my own.

Fractious Princess

Princess Boots has a sore paw and Monika and Bob are worried about her, but she gets all snarly and hissy when they try to check it.

Nipped

Monika decided to see if my nose is still working this morning. She took the jar of catnip into the living room and just opened the cover and I came running from the spare bedroom with my nose a sniffing.

Alarm King

King Obsidian here; Yesterday after Bob went to work Monika fell asleep watching the TV and I knew it was getting close to time for her to start getting ready for her work, so I went into the bed room and turned the radio on to wake her up. She came in to turn it off and told me that I was a very smart kitty and thanked me for waking her up. Then back in the living rom her cell phone started ringing. SHe picked it up and must have not liked the person calling because she just hit a button and it stopped ringing, then she put it in her purse. (from Bob; She had the alarm set on her phone)

Ooooppps!!

This morning, while Bob was making his lunch for work, I decided to go up to my high place. Only when I was jumping up from the refrigerator, I slipped and fell back onto it. Bob heard and turned to see what happened, but I jumped up again real fast, so I don't think he saw. At least I hope he didn't. That would be embarrassing.

Happy Labor Day

Bob and Monika should get home later today. We can't wait. Of course when they do get home though we will all act like we are mad at them and run and hide, but secretly we will be glad our pets are back home and safe again.
